Everything you need to know about our localization solutions.

What languages should we target?
The languages you should target must consider your communication objective and whether your intended reach is national, specific geographical catchment areas or specific community groups within a defined location. Once this has been established, we will be able to work with you to define the appropriate audiences to target.
What are the associated costs?
Costs vary on the scope of work as well as number of language groups your organisation is wanting to invest into. Prices for market research start from $2,000 per consumer language group. Strategy development is dependent on number of language groups.
If we kick off a GTM campaign in specific language groups, are the results measurable?
Absolutely. We will work with your marketing team to build the appropriate tracking mechanisms to capture response rates. This includes awareness, engagement, marketing qualified leads and sales qualified leads.
Why can’t we just translate material?
That’s like saying “why can’t they just call us”. Channel choice is paramount to the consumers of today therefore organisations need to find different ways to communicate with multilingual consumer groups.
How do I get insights into specific consumer language groups?
That’s easy – you kick off a market research project with LocalizCX. Normally we encourage clients to undertake both qualitative and quantitative market research programs to ensure a full picture is gleaned from a numbers and sentiment perspective.
Content Services
How do I know the translation is correct?
LocalizCX delivers services within a robust quality assurance framework and is dependent on the translations methodology adopted for your project. In situations where accredited human translators are used, we employ up to 3 steps to check quality – this is dictated by client budget and intended use case for translated content.
- Translator Review: The original translator is required to review their work for translation accuracy.
- Quality Calibration: Working with in-country language specialists, we review the original translator’s work and review to ensure the quality check has been calibrated.
- Final pass: We offer back translation to ensure contextual appropriateness has been maintained.
In the event you opt to use our AI localization capability, we adopt a significantly different quality assurance process, which we’d love to walk you through. But be assured, you’re in really good hands and your message will be on point.
Do you use human translators or machine translations?
It really depends on the nature of your project, intended use case, speed to market and the channel of content delivery. This will define our approach but ultimately, the customer is always right so if you want human translators, we’re always more than happy to comply with your wishes.
How long does it take to have something translated?
Well that depends on your deadline!
We use a combination of sophisticated translation memory tools, AI machine translation capability plus human translators to deliver content which is accurate in its intent.
If using human translators, our average translations speed per day is 1,500 words per language. Given we run concurrent translations projects, we normally output tens of thousands of words every day.
If using a hybrid translations model which is AI machine translation plus humanised quality control, our translations speed is significantly faster and greater in volume.
How much does it cost?
That depends on a number of variables.
First we would seek to understand the number of languages your content needs to be translated into. We would also need to understand how much content you have.
Furthermore, we would want to understand what type of quality assurance overlay you would like for your project as well as any production services to provide you with a final product for distribution.
Given the quality assurance framework embedded into our workflow and the calibre of translators we work with, our costs may be marginally more than other folks in the market. But getting it right is important – as is your message.
Multichannel Solutions
If the dynamic web/app localization platform is automated, how can we ensure content integrity?
The first localization pass is subject to significant number of quality assurance processes which is managed by the LocalizCX team. Depending on the scope of work, you can opt to have a page, a micro site or your primary site translated into a specific number of languages. This content is rendered on a page by page basis depending on what components of your website or mobile app have been translated.
What happens when we add new content to our English site/app?
With automated workflows, the LocalizCX team are notified real time of new content being posted. Depending on the type of arrangement we have with you, we will either automatically manage the content translation or work with your marketing/communications team for approval.
What platforms are supported?
Common platforms include WordPress, Sqaurespace, Backbone.js, Ember, Django, AngularJS, Drupal, PhoneGap plus many more.
What is the lead time to initially implement a fully localized site?
Depending on the number of languages, anywhere up to 2-4 weeks which will deliver a fully checked and tested localized website which has passed quality assurance.
Our organisation has multiple web apps which are driven by one CMS. Can this integrate?
Absolutely. Our production and tech ops team will work with your team to design the necessary solution architecture prior to sign off.
We only want to localize our mobile app. Is that possible?
Absolutely. You just need to supply us with the content in an appropriate format which we will then use to localize. We will then supply you with import ready files for your language ready mobile app.
How does the system detect a user’s preferred language?
Simple. On a website this is driven either by a self-serve floating widget or in the user’s internet browser language setting. In a mobile app, its a setting predefined in the mobile operating system.
